The 2024 Port Geographe Christmas Lights Cruise shone brightly, delighting the community and celebrating the festive season in true southwest style. With 26 entrants lighting up their homes, this annual tradition brought joy, colour, and holiday cheer to Busselton and beyond.
Marking its sixth year, the event once again proved to be a standout holiday highlight in Western Australia’s southwest, drawing sold-out crowds and enthusiastic participants.
This year’s prize pool reached a record-breaking $20,000, awarded to the creative and festive winners who helped light up the season.
The event welcomed new sponsors, Ray White Stocker Preston and Picton Civil, whose fresh support brought added excitement. Long-time supporters Altair Estate, Busselton Dunsborough Mail, Dale Alcock Homes Southwest, Newport Geographe, Port Geographe Marina, and WIN Network returned to help ensure another successful year.
The festivities culminated on Saturday, 11 January 2025, at the Port Geographe Marina. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as competition entrants received their winning cheques, presented by loyal sponsors Port Geographe Marina and Dale Alcock Homes Southwest. It was a fitting finale to an event that has become a annual community tradition.
