Aigle Royal Group have ambitiously commenced what is touted to be a new long running tradition in Busselton which will see Port Geographe canals transform into the Christmas lights destination of WA’s Southwest.
In collaboration with the City of Busselton, WIN Television, Dale Alcock Homes Southwest and The Deck Bar & Restaurant, Newport Geographe will be hosting the inaugural ‘Port Geo Christmas Lights Cruise’ on the Port Geographe canals.
The canal cruises which have been provided free of charge, allows the community to enjoy the dazzling display of Christmas lit canal homes on-board a special purposed vessel, with cruises departing from The Deck Bar & Restaurant every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from the 6th of December to the 22nd of December, every 30 minutes from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
The event which is intended to bring the community together during a special time of the year, creating memorable family experiences, booked out 432 seats within a week!
To encourage canal residents to display Christmas lights for the cruises, Newport Geographe has offered several prizes for participating iincluding a $1,000 cash prize for the house voted with the best Christmas lights display.
